New! IDShield’s Reputation Management Service Now Scans Content from Reddit and LinkedIn Accounts

We’ve added the ability to scan Reddit and LinkedIn accounts with our reputation management tool, in addition to the existing social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. According to a Statista Survey conducted in early 2021, 36% of internet users between 18-29 years and 22% of users aged 30-49 years use Reddit. This is an excellent enhancement that will further protect participant’s online reputation.

Did you know content can now also be directly deleted from IDShield’s Reputation Management Platform?

Plan participants were previously able to directly delete flagged content from their Twitter account using IDShield’s reputation management tool. Now, content can be automatically deleted from their Facebook, Instagram and Reddit accounts, making the user experience even easier and quicker. When deleting content from Facebook and Instagram accounts, participants will be prompted to download an extension on their Chrome browser, allowing us to delete content on their behalf automatically. This process takes less than ten seconds and only needs to be enabled once. The extension is not required for Reddit and Twitter.

We also recently updated the design of IDShield’s web-based portal. These updates provide an overall simplified experience that is more aligned with IDShield’s mobile app design and layout. The portal also now includes a site ‘introduction’ for first-time users and an updated widget for existing plan participants, encouraging them to explore their portal and use their benefit.
