The Importance of an Online Privacy Protection Benefit

In today’s digital world, how you look online matters. IDShield’s online privacy and reputation management service helps participants not only take control of their online persona, but also helps them protect their online privacy. IDShield is the only carrier to provide a truly first-class online privacy and reputation management solution.

IDShield’s maximum security protection from Trend Micro allows participants to set parental controls and content filters to monitor and block what web pages can viewed, and schedule specific timeframes for when their children can browse the web. Anti-malware, mobile security, VPN Proxy One and a password manager are also services provided.

IDShield’s reputation management service allows participants to scan their social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for existing content that could be damaging to their online reputation. Participants will be notified of old accounts, high-risk posts, and images. They will have the ability to review and the choice to remove flagged content for their personal accounts. IDShield’s family plan provides this service to both the participant and the participant’s spouse. In addition, this service also provides recommendations and best practices to improve a participant’s LinkedIn profile and help lock down their privacy across popular social media sites.

5 Ways Employee Resource Groups Enhance the Workplace

Workplace diversity is growing faster than ever. Thousands of U.S. companies have committed to developing workforce diversity via solid recruitment and retention policies. Many employers have found that DEI practices are more easily incorporated when introducing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). An ERG is essentially a focus group of employees who research best practices to foster a workplace that aligns other employees with the people they serve.

These groups can have a huge impact on a company’s benefit package and client satisfaction with their benefit offerings. ERGs help ensure that employees are aware of the company’s benefits and can facilitate change by recommending additional benefits to support the company’s DEI policy. Top benefits of focus for 2023 continue to be legal and identity theft protection plans.

ERGs can enhance the workplace in at least five ways:

1. Facilitate the emergence of budding leaders among coworkers and grow their potential via training and career development.

2. Improve employees’ feelings of safety and being seen by coworkers and employers.

3. Provide employees with opportunities to express their concerns in a safe space.

4. Create a sense of unity for the entire workplace, both in-person and remote.

5. Identify and address problems in the work environment, allowing participants to experience a sense of accomplishment as they develop solutions.

Tax Fraud Coverage with Legal and IDT Plans

With tax season upon us, voluntary legal and identity theft plans can offer employees another layer of protection. Not all legal and identity theft protection plans are the same though. LegalShield and IDShield provide the protection needed at an affordable monthly rate.

With IDShield, if a participant is a victim of tax fraud, a dedicated Licensed Private Investigator (“LPI”) can help guide the participant through the IRS calls and paperwork to help ensure their identity is restored to its pre-theft status. As a proactive approach, IDShield also monitors a participant’s Social Security number (SNN) and other Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and will send an alert if a discrepancy is found.

LegalShield provides participants with direct access to a dedicated law firm who can provide assistance with tax audit and collection-related legal matters. Advice, consultation and even legal representation of the participant can be provided.

These benefits provide the legal and identity / online privacy protection needed in today’s world. For more information on LegalShield and IDShield, please contact Cheryl at or 720-371-1736 (text/mobile)
